On meeting Amanda or one of our highly trained, licensed, insured Sunnyside Skin Clinic therapists for the first time, we will ask you to complete a medical questionnaire and discuss what you would really like to achieve from your treatment with us. Your treatment will then consist of the following:

The laser applicator is placed on the skin and a short pulse of light is released, which targets many follicles simultaneously.  The laser produces a ray of high intensity light which gives off heat energy, heating the melanin (the pigment in the hair follicle) and destroying the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding cell, preventing any further hair grown.

With the SHR (Super Hair Removal) function, larger areas can be treated quickly and pain-free.

Hair has a three stage lift cycle, starting with the growth stage, and only hairs that are in the growth stage will be destroyed by the laser.

Results vary depending on the part of the body and the skin and hair colour being treated – that’s why at Sunnyside Skin Clinic all our clients benefit from an individually tailored treatment programme.
